Copies made on Tory island 6–7 September 1969 by Hugh Shields of recordings made mostly in August 1969 by John Meenan (aged 18), barman in Dickson’s bar, Meenlaragh (see notes) [tracks 5–6, 11–14]

Tracks 7–8 of 6938, track 7 of 6940, tracks 8–12 of 6943, tracks 5–6 of 6944 and tracks 3–12 of 6946 are copies made by Hugh Shields (3 ¾ ips) on a Uher reel-to-reel from mediocre-quality recordings made on Tory, mostly in August 1969, on a small cassette recorder by John Meenan (aged 18) of East End, Tory island, working as a barman in Dickson’s bar, Meenlaragh, Co. Donegal.

The title of the DAT(s) was altered from the old title (DCS) to the new title (ITMA-REEL/DAT) using different numbers in order to establish consistency in the titling of DAT copies of reel-to-reel tapes, Niall Hackett, 2010
