Tracks A1–33 were recorded at a music session in Hughie McGovern's pub, Letterkenny, Co Donegal in March 1963. Tracks B, C and D were recorded in Hugh Gillespie's house, Ballybofey, Co Donegal in March 1964
Tracks A continued on tracks B. Tracks B continued on tracks C, and tracks C continued on tracks D.
