Note

Notes:
For BB's working copy of this tape (lower quality), see 2020-ITMA-REEL
Breathnach Sliabh Luachra collection (relevant to)
Digitised from the reel-to-reel tape and catalogued by Jackie Small, February 2007
Imported from Reeldubs July 2013

This tape contains a high-quality copy of programme material featuring Seamus Ennis (SE) from the RTE sound archive. The copy was probably provided (or facilitated) by Radio Eireann for use in Breandan Breathnach's index of Irish traditional dance music.

BB's working copy of some of the material on this tape is at 2020-ITMA-REEL. The information supplied with that working copy indicates that the material here consists of two radio programmes presented by Seamus Ennis on BBC Radio [perhaps during the time of Ennis's employment with the BBC?]

Documentation:
Spoken information on tape ; Cardboard case: 'a. NO: 171/68 S. ENNIS
