Note

Notes:
Dubbed to DAT Nov 1997
This tape contains poor-quality dubs of Radio Eireann acetates, mainly of Sliabh Luachra music. It was probably designed as a working copy for transcription purposes, etc. There are speed anomalies throughout – in some cases, these might be deliberate in order to facilitate transcription, and have not been corrected.

Most tracks on this tape (and probably all instrumental tracks) are available in better-quality versions elsewhere in the Breathnach collection in copies provided by (or facilitated by) RTE. Where tracks could be immediately identified as being available on the commercial CDs 'The Sliabh Luachra Fiddle Master Padraig O'Keeffe' (RTE CD 174) or 'Denis Murphy – Music from Sliabh Luachra' (RTE CD 183), they are not digitised. Full contents of the tape are given below in the Notes field of the catalogue.
